For my son Kyle's 3rd birthday, we decided to have an ice cream party. I made ice cream sundae invitations out of construction paper. On each colored ice cream scoop I put a fact about the party- time, location, etc. I also made all of the decorations for the party.  I made ice cream cones out of fiberfill, colored saran wrap and construction paper. Wrap up the fiberfill balls with saran wrap, tape the ends of saran wrap and tape it on a construction paper cone. It looks really good when you stack two different colored balls together for a double scoop. I hung these around the patio for decorations. I bought a white paper table cloth and put ice cream stickers on it for decoration. I bought plastic bowls and spoons-the reusable ones-and painted the children's names on the outside in bright colors.  I also bought crazy straws and ice cream cone shooters(they push a button on the cone and the ice cream ball shoots off-it's attached by a string). All of this they got to take home as party favors. We had 3 flavors of ice cream and lots of toppings to choose from.  For the parents, I copied a history of ice cream from Edy's website and made a true/false questionnaire for them to complete.  I also looked on Edy's website, Ben and Jerry's and Baskin Robbins to find some crazy ice cream names. I made a yes/no questionnaire -Is there a Tax Crunch ice cream?  The winners of the two games received ice cream related prizes.  We had a great time.
