For my Birthday one year, my dad and I tried to make this ice-cream cake.  We changed it around and it came out great.  First you need pie crust.. we bought Oreo, but you can use whatevery you want. Then you pick out a flavor of ice-cream and let it set in the fridge the day you plan on making it.  When its soft pour it in the pie crust, and put it in the freezer.  You can also buy sprinkles and other little decoration and let the kids decorate it themselves. Its really fun and I make one every year.
