Birthday Party Palooza This party is fun for kids at the age of 10 to 14 This is a mixture of a ice cream party, and a pool party. I bought some ice cream cones from the candy store with my mom. but they were made of marshmellows. I hungup pink and baby blue streamers on the walls and ceiling, then I hung the marshmellow ice cream cones from the streamers. It looked really cool. Then I set up small table in the living room. I put three chairs around each of them. I set a main larger table in the middle of everything. I put different colored table cloths. And then I bought ice cream bowls from the dollar store, and put some at each table. Along with plastic spoons. Also at each table was a center piece. I put a few of the marshmellow ice cream cones in a vase, and each girl got to keep one as a treat. The main table, had a bunch of ingrediants, like chocolate sauce, caramel sauce, strawberry sauce, nuts, whip cream, and more. Then when the guests came, they sat down, and then my mom called up each table and each girl got to make there own sundaes. After that, we went outside, and played water games. First we played in the pool. We played hot potato, only with a large ice cube that my mom had froze the night before. We saw in a circle, and one girl started with an ice cube, then my mom turned on some music, later without looking she turned it off, the girl with the ice cube was out. Whoever was in the longest, got a prize. Also whoever dropped an ice cube into the water was out. after that we ran through some sprinklers, played with some water balloons, and used my brothers water guns to play tag and other water games. Then we cooled off inside. We played a few more games without prizes, and then had another cool game with a prize. I gave each girl a list that said Ice Cream Sundae, and whoever found the most words, won the game and a prize. Then we decided to eat dinner. We had pizza and sub sandwiches, fruit platters, chips and more. after dinner, I handed out gift bags. Inside, there was one marshmellow ice cream cone, a lip gloss, a sheet of ice cream stickers, and a five dollar gift certificate for each girl. As for invitations, I used construction paper. I cut out three different colored circles out of the construction paper. Then I glued them together, one on top of the other. Then I cut out a triangle. I used a ruler and drew those lines on the cones. I glued everything together, in the shape of an ice cream cone. Then I wrote some information on the front, and some on the back. That was about it.
