Go to your local ice rink. 3 adults and 7 kids skating cost 12. Anyhow met at the rink, and the kids just take off and skate everywhere. They have so much fun that they didn't even want to
quit to eat, but after 2 hours (long for 4 yo, hey?) they eventually began to come over to the table for a snack and hot chocolate. Make an igloo out of cream cheese and mozzarella, plus have
lots of crackers, mini sausages and cheese cut into cute shapes. Then a plate of fruit and veggies, everything cut to mini sizes, chips, etc. Go home to have the cake. At home decorated the
room with about 50 snowflakes made from coffee filters. Flattened them out and folded them, cut them out, sprayed them with starch, and hung them up. They looked neat. Craft this year was
snowmen made from socks. Use reindeer antlers instead of party hats, along with snowman cups for the goodie bags. The kids also get to choose a balloon, and in their bags got a pair of
mittens, some chocolate, a stamping felt, skating/snowflake stickers.
