Invitation: Indi's hat over hieroglyphics, informing guests that their passports for adventure will be ready August 30th.
Activities: They will begin by decorating 4 x 6 wood frames with various jungle type items(spiders, webs,leaves,etc)frames to be used at end of party. Then they will pick up their personal passports and enter the back yard. Whips (jump ropes)hanging on fence with names in hieroglyphics. Games: First stop Cairo. Fence and area decorated with baskets filled with fruit, tapestries, jewelry, etc. Here they will form two teams, put Arab type white headdress on, and have a relay race with small wicker baskets on their heads. When each guest returns to starting line they will take off the headdress, open basket, retrieve their own fedora, and cheer until the rest finish. Next they move into the jungle" (streamers of shades of green and Spanish moss hanging from fence and trees) here they will actually "become" the boulder! Guests climb into a Giga ball (lifesized hamster ball) and they push each other around the yard while my husband runs with a gold painted wig form! Then an obstacle course that ends with crawling through a tunnel into a tent with various gold grails for each to choose one. Food: Inside is Pankot palace! Guests sit on floor with decorative pillow balloons paper lanterns a lavish table with huge paper mache snake gold coins rubber snakes and bugs. Eye ball punch chicken sate focacia bread hummus cheese fruit. Layered Pyramid cake decorated with legos (anubus sticking out from inside and Indiana Jones and the arc on top! Guests leave through front door to see life sized cut out of Indi under tree with Spanish moss hanging around them. I take a polaroid photo of them with Indi and they put it in the frame that they made!"
