Karaoke Party For my son's 12th Birthday, he wanted to invite girls and boys.  I am musically inclined and came up with the Karaoke Party. It was a sensational hit! I have a karaoke machine but you could rent or borrow one if you don't have one.  I started singing first, then everyone wanted to sing!  I had CDs and cassettes readily available and they could also sing along with a song on the radio.  I had prizes for the best, but also gave prizes for all participants. DECORATIONS: Cake had colorful music notes and I had purchased Treble Clef candles. Wall Decor were black music notes and I had gold musical note garland. I purchased plates, cups, napkins, and tablecloth with colorful musical notes that read Happy Birthday!  PARTY FAVORS: Colorful musical note stickers (found at Wal-Mart), musical note pencils (found at local music store) and candy. These boys and girls were really good singers. They each called their parents for permission to stay another hour before having to go home.  This party ideas is great for 12+.
