Hi.  My name is Samantha.  I am turning 13 this year.  For my birthday my mom came up with this awesome idea that we rent a Karaoke machine. We're going to set up my front lawn like a stage.  To do that we're going to put up big spot lights and red carpet and have big colored lights all over the place. for the audience we'll set up chairs and have tables with pretzels and chips.  We may even find a way to set up a bar with pop and stuff.      We'll need a list of songs and a sign-up sheet that you put your name and song on. When everyone gets there they pick a song to dance to.  We'll have contests such as "Sing for your dinner", "First girl", "First boy" and "First girl and boy".  After everyone has had a turn we'll set up a voting box where everyone votes for their favorite act.  That person will get a prize. For dinner (as long as you sang) we're going to have pizza. I'm going to make a piñata for afterwards that is shaped like a mouth and a music note by using odd shaped balloons and paper mache. If its not time to go home by then I'll start a game of hide and go seek in the dark.
