I just wanted to thank Kathleen in Kent, Connecticut for her Lego Party ideas for 7 year olds. I used most all of her ideas for my twins (Boys) who turned 8 last week.  It was a big hit! I wanted to ADD a game for the Lego Party (Idea 2846) that was a big hit too. We used my sons lego game that has cards that give instructons to build a lego toy. The cards are colored and we picked two teams and use two different colored lego cards from the game. My sons picked all the pieces needed to build the item described on the lego card from the game and placed the pieces,and the card that has the instructions for building on it, in a plastic bag. We hid the card at the end of a treasure hunt outside or in the house (depending on the weather).  My older son made up 4 index cards for each team that had an instruction on each sending the team to a different hiding place for each card until the team was finally led to the card with the legos. The first team to find all the index cards and get to the legos and build the item described on the lego card was the winner!  It was the favorite game of most of the kids!  Thank you again Kathleen for all your help with ideas for the lego party it was a real success!
