6 Year Old's "Lego Builder's party" I printed invitations that had Lego images all over them. To prepare for the party, I called the Lego Outlet store in GA to get an extra tub of Lego's (1200 pcs. for $19.95!). Also check out Ebay auctions for cheap Legos. I made a "Lego" cake by making a sheet cake (9x13) and turning over 6 cupcakes on top.  Frosted whole thing red (his fav. color).  I created a "Lego Bingo" game. I drew out a grid 4x4 and put LEGO at the top (instead of BINGO). In each square, I drew a Lego brick. I used 6 pc, 4 pc. and 2 pc. of different colors.  I created it in Publisher, and then all I had to do was copy & change the colors to make each board different.   I had a guessing jar filled with Legos. Not too many because they were only 6! Party favors were the $2.99 boxes of Legos bought online.  They have a large selection of the small boxes. These were also used for game prizes. I went to the candy store at the mall and got some Lego shaped candy that was the hit of the party. The candy actually stacks like real Legos! For the children who were more timid about building something, I had several easy books out to give them ideas.  The party went very well!  It was 1 1/2 hrs. which was plenty long. I poured the legos out on our old "train table" (low to ground with 2" sides) in the middle of the room. It helped to keep them all together and neat, without taking over the whole room. The best idea was to open the presents and do the cake at the beginning. That way when the parents came to pick up the children, they were just playing and ready to go. I've never enjoyed watching kids rush through opening my presents so we can leave! Hope my ideas help!
