We had a LEGO party for my 8 yr. old. For the invitations, I put a die cut of a LEGO on the front of card stock and printed the invite message on paper on the computer and pasted it inside the
card. I used primary tableware. I made a LEGO cake (rectangle with 6 cupcakes-frosted bright blue). I also thought of using a white frosted cake and having my son build a "LEGO
Masterpiece" to place on top of the cake. The game was each boy got
1 C. scoop of misc. Lego's and a pre-written card with the item which they had to build. I set the timer for 5 minutes. Some of the things they had to build were, airplane, ferry boat, alligator, helicopter, motorcycle, rocket-ship, etc. I then took their photo with their masterpiece and gave ea. a "super button".(You could make stickers on the computer also for this). I used the photos on their thank you notes. Each goodie bag contained a box of the 22-35 piece Lego sets.
