Bionicle Birthday Bash. My son loves legos and for his 8th Birthday we decided to have a Bionicle Birthday Bash & sleepover. We invited eight friends so we would have even
teams.
For the invitations I copied Bionicles from the Lego website and placed them all over the invitation. I also printed Bionicles on the front of the envelopes to create excitement. My son decorated the driveway by coloring Bionicles with chalk. We hung streamers and various bionicles all over the house. We even made a centerpiece with lego's and bionicle for table decorations. Once the boys arrived we took them bowling for a Bohrak Blast game. Prizes, which were bionicles, were given for High score, low score and most strikes. Once home, we munched on pizza and set up air hockey and ping pong in the garage. We had the PS2 set up with the Bionicle game. We also had more Bionicle prizes for high scores. For the cake, I decorated it with the Bionicle Logo and added smaller Bionicle figures to the top. Since the cake was white with a black decorations, I found these cool candles that were black with vaious colors. They really gave the cake a dramatic look. After cake and presents, it was time for the Main Feature showing of "Bionicle Mask of Light". The boys set up their sleeping bags, and I served popcorn in tubs that looked like they were at the movies. They had a great time and were able to stay up way past their bedtimes. In the morning before they went home they all got a treat bag. I included a small bionicle that I had gotten on sale at Lego.com, and some cool Bionicle stickers from Legoland, and some candy that my son picked out. It was a great party for a boy who loves Legos and Bionicles. I did some preplanning and was able to use some coupons and hit some sales and I probably didn't spend over $150 for this party. It truely was a Bionicle Blast.
