For our son's 6th birthday in May, we are having a Lego theme. We are going to have a barbecue dinner with 16 of his friends.  While we are waiting for dinner, we will have Lego insectoid coloring sheets that will include a space maze, connect the stars sheet, and a galaxy word search. After dinner, we will have the kids don their insectoid Lego masks (from birthdayexpress).  Kids will be put in groups of four and each receive a box we previously decorated like a lego. In the box will be all the parts needed to create a space model.  We will see which team works together the fastest to create the model. When this is done, we will go back outside and take a whack at our own paper mache Lego piñata. The kids will receive a paper bag we decorated with Lego insectoid stickers to fill with Legos that will fall from the piñata. Then we will have ice cream and a Lego cake decorated with small space models and people.  We are excited!
