Little Party -1yr- Everything is Little

For my son's first birthday we decided to throw a party where everything was little. 

The invitations included a poem that hinted at the theme. Small plates, beverage napkins, and plastic toddler tableware were used. 

We served mini hamburgers, mini hotdogs, and mini taco salads (served in mini tostada bowls).  Side dishes included petite potato salad, Baby goldfish crackers, mini sugar cookies, mini chocolate chip cookies and mini bags of chips.

Other items served mini m&ms, petite pastel mints, mini jujus, and mini Hershey's chocolate bars.  Drinks were small cans of soda pop, small bottles of water and gatorade, and small boxes of juice.  I made a small cake for the birthday boy to destroy about 3" in diameter. 

The guests were treated to mini cupcakes. 

Gift bags for the children (3 1/4"x2 1/4"x6 1/2") included small bags of mini oreos, mini animal crackers, mini Hershey's chocolates and mini cereal bars. 

The adults received a gift bag (3"x4") with a small picture frame with a wallet size photo of the birthday boy already inside.
