Hawaiian Luau. For my 11th birthday party I had a Hawaiian luau and sleepover! For the invites I just printed some off the computer with a beach theme and it had all the info on it. We went to shops like the Bargain Store,Wal-Mart and Dollarama to get prizes.Some of the prizes were lip gloss,bracelets,candy(of course!),make-up and other little things like that.Seeing that it was a luau we had Hawaiian punch with thoes little umbrella straws in them.We ordered a Hawaiian pizza and had other things such as burgers and hot dogs(if the girls wanted them).For snack food (which you should ALWAYS have at a party) we had chips and popcorn. The worse case scinario is that with a Hawaiian luau you may need a pool seeing as how Hawaiian is an island with water.We did not have a pool so we bought a fairly large blow up pool from Canadian Tire.(You can also find pools at Wal-Mart)We played some of the games that readers suggested on the web site and also had water balloon fights,sprayed eachother with the hose and a water gun fight.We danced to Hawaiian music and had a dance contest.We bought white bags and tie dyed them.We also hade a make-up contest where each girl has 1 minute to put make-up on her face!We had alot of laughs with that game! For a cake we went to Bulk Barn and got a cake former thing where you put the cake mix in  the former,bake it and it comes out in the shape that you wany it to.We made a pineapple shaped cake with yellow and brown icing and green leaves.Once we finished the cake, I the birthday girl (me!)opened the gifts.When we were done with everything we went back outside and danced some more.At this time the tiki torches were lit.(ouupps! I forgot to mention thoes!)We went inside and pigged out on junk food while we watched a movie (you can pick a scary one ,a hawaiian one or a whole bunch of different movies to watch.)We also talked and in the night time when everyone was sleeping,we took make-up and decorated there faces then took poloroids of them and showed them in the morning!It was SO funny!For breakfast we made a menu of what we had to eat and then while we ate we watched the movie of our graduation.After that we relaxed a little then we drove them home. p.s you can chose if you wan to give your guests goddie bags.We bought beach pails and filled them up with stuff.But you don't have to because they already have the prizes they've won PLUS the bags!
