This year for my 11th Birthday I had a Hawaiian Sleepover. For an Invitation, I bought cards with little Tiki-men and Hawaiian flowers on them.I bought Blow-up palm trees and placed them around my yard and I draped tropical colored streamers in the trees on my lawn and in my fence.I put lawn chairs and beach balls all over my back yard to make it look like a beach.I even put sand in one part. I sprayed coconut scented perfume on all the furniture in the sleeping quarters of my house. For food I carved out a watermelon and filled it with pineapple, watermelon and cherries.I made smoothies by mixing coconut yogurt with raspberries, strawberries orange juice and 1 1/2 cups ice in the blender. I filled a clean fishbowl with goldfish and I put out pretzels, chips and cheese curls on various tables in my yard. When the guests arrived I greeted them by putting a lei around their neck.I gave everyone Hawaiian skirt. I gave everyone a disposable camera, too. For activities I used a Slip N' Slide and we had soooooo much fun. We had each person do a wacky hula dance. The wackiest one won a prize. We played a game called Tidal Wave where everyone had a different colored pair of socks on a big sheet, the last pair of socks to stay on won a prize. We played water limbo by squirting a hose across like a bar and having people duck under it and when it got dark we did the same thing with a flashlight.  The winner got a prize. I got Hawaiian sayings off the internet and the guests had to guess what they meant and write them down. The first person to guess them all wins.I found out what each guests' name was in Hawaiian and decorated them on Pillow cases and each guest had to guess which one was theirs.  For prizes I got little lipstick pots, notebook keychains, earrings and rings. I rented movies, but nobody wants to watch Hawaiian movies so I got chick flicks instead.  I mixed popcorn with little coconut flakes   .It was really good.I had a separate room for people who wanted to go to sleep early. That worked great. For Goodie-bags I gave people disposable cameras, their personalized pillow cases,a lei,a grass skirt, and whatever prizes they won. My Party turned soooooo great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
