Madeline Tea-Time party for my 3 year old. My daughter, Brianna just saw Madeline on tv for the first time, and she LOVES it, and asked me to make a Madeline Tea-Time theme for her birthday. I
thought that was a good idea, since Madeline was so well-behaved, a Tea Party would match Brianna's Madeline theme real well. I hand-made the invitations, by cutting construction paper into a
teacup-shaped card with Madeline's head on it, and the inside of the card had a poem that said "You'e invited to have a spot of tea/Let's have fun, with Madeline and me. /We'll learn
some french like "Bonjour" and "Petite" and "Oui."/ Let's have fun, with Madeline and me." We decorated her playroom with blue and yellow streamers (since
Madeline wears blue dresses and has a yellow hat.) We covered her Barbie table with a light purple tablecloth, and set up her sister's old tea set. The guests LOVED the party!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Their favorite party-game, they played was "Pass the Madeline doll" (hot potato) because the player who was last standing won a Mrs. Potts/Chip McDonald's toy that I ordered from
ebay, and the other kids won something else, so they won't get jealous or sad. During the "Tea-Time" tea party, I asked them if they would like to drink orande juice, or Milk (since
nobody liked tea.) They said "Oui" to the drinks they wanted, and they sounded sooo cute!!! Before they left, I took their picture with Brianna's life-size Madeline doll with an
instant camera, and I wrote "I had a wonderful Tea-Time birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!
