For my 12th birthday I had a Paris theme. Since I can'y have my party in Paris, I decided to bring Paris to me. I got some invitations made at the local print shoppe. On the cover there was a picture of a poodle.In fancy writing that said " Would you like to come Rendez-vous with me on my birthday?" And on the inside it said (the startings in french) Qui? (WHO): , Ou?(where): Quand?(when): and Nombre Telephone? (Phone number.) I handed the invitations out a week before my party. The party started at 7:00 p.m. My mom and I made a big eiffel tower, with a banner across saying BIENVENUE A PARIS(welcome to Paris) , and put it on my balcony. We had 3 tables set up, with 3 chairs (there was 9 people) When they first came, we had breadsticks on the table. My parents came out dressed with striped shirts and barettes, they handed everyone a menu (made on the computer, then laminated.) The menu looked like this: LA SPEGHETTI AVEC MEATBALLS - LE PIZZA- LES " FRENCH FRIES" - everybody ordered. For dessert we had eiffel-tower shaped cake and glaceaus (french icecream) When 9:00 came around it was dark, and we lit a candle on each table. Everybody went in at 10:00, we all got french manicures by my manicurist aunty. My mom set up a fake runway, and we pretended to be french models.In the morning we had crepes. When the girls went home, they each got a barette, some really cheap french scented perfume, and some fake tickets to paris (made on the computer) I had tons of fun at my party, and so did all of my friends! I sure hope everyone else likes it! OUARIVOIRE!
