This year we decided to go with a magic theme for our sons birthday .They were turning 4 and 6. There bdays are 1 week apart. I found free invitations to print out on magicbob2000.com of a
wizard doing magic. For the colors of the party we decorated with black and red streamers and found some cool posters of magicians at a local store. For the party favors I gave out
goodie bags that were black paper bags with glow in the dark stickers on them we had things like a deck of cards, a coin trick , and candy . Plus I went to the material store and bought black
material off the clearance rack and made magic capes. For the games we played Pin the wand on the magician , my husband drew on a poster board a picture of a magician and I made paper wands
to pin on the magician. I also had a jar full of jelly beans , which I had labeled magic jelly beans and the kids had to guess how many were in there. All the children got magic certificates
which I printed off of magicbob2000.com. We also hired a local magician which the kids absolutely loved. For the cake I found a recipe on allrecipes.com under betty crocker for a magical
bunny cake . Which wasn't that hard to make. I bought individual ice creams in the little cups so that we wouldn't have the mess of scooping the ice cream . To cut the cost of the themed
plates and cups I went to a store called the dollar tree and they had black and red cups, plates, and napkins which saved me a lot of money. The most expensive thing was the magician but
everything else I either found on the internet for free or I bought on clearance or for a low price . My sons absolutely loved it. .
