My daughter's 11th birthday is coming up. I'm giving her a $75 budget {not including food} and she can spend on anything for her party. Here's her ideas:For invitations, buy pretty cardstock and in Sharpie write the information. Poke holes in the corners and tie colored ribbon on.The girls will be there from 5pm to 10pm to avoid a sleepover, but have lots of time to hang out .To keep a low price for decorations [barely any $$],hang up celeb posters from Tiger Beat mag. all around your party room[s]. move a small TV in and set up a video game like DanceDanceRevolution. Make stations with hair scrunchies and mirrors and have the girls bring their own hairbrush. make another station for makeup, but try to use make up you already have. [Keep in mind this is all in the budget!] Add decorative pillows for seating and ask the girls to brin their own. For cheap prices, shop at a local dollar store or 5 Below. Have dinner in the backyard. I will be serving corn on the cob, grilled chicken salad, and fresh fruits, and munchies inside the house. Then, serve cake and open presents. To keep the girls busy, buy crafts or girly activities. For the goody bags, buy plastic take out boxes and fill them with candy, lipgloss, and another spa-type goodies.  buy movie munchers and rent a movie or use ON DEMAND. My daughters guests will have a wide variety of activities. Think of an optional game like an outdoor scavenger hunt. Make laminated lists of the items you need to find, and buy cheap items to look for [or just make a nature hunt PRICLESS!] like bouncy balls, keychains, beads, something you could hang from a low tree that blends in like... cheap green change purses... etc. Put them into groups of 2 by picking names out of a make up box.Whoever finds the most items gets to trade them in for a big prize. [the items from the scavengger hunt will be used as goodies/ prizes]. Use a radio or computer to have a HUGE dance party. play freeze dance, limbo, dance off, etc. Let the girls chill down and talk. My daughter is going away to sleepaway camp 4 days after that, so she needs time to talk and hang out with her friends. Let them have a great time until their parents pick them up. THANKS FOR VIEWING!
