Salon Sleepover Party On our daughters 7th birthday we wanted to something very girlie and special for her. She loves to get dressed up and do the "girlie" things. For her
birthday we chose to have a Salon Sleepover Party. The girls were sent invitations that were rolled up into small little curlers and the invite requested their presence at "Salon de
Zacarias" for an evening of pampering.
Our front door had a sign explaining the events for the night along with a hostess to check them in. My sister in laws helped host the night, they wore all black and looked like some sort of beautician that would be in a fancy spa. Every girl was greeted with a small purse that had their own combs, mirror, hair bows & clips, candy necklaces ect... for them to use for the night. They also put on a "robe" that had their names puffy painted on the front & the name of our salon on the back. I purchased an 8 pack of mens basic white tee's at target for about 6 dollars and cut it in the middle to make a robe. After, each girl took a before picture. A served sit down dinner was provided to the girls, including a 4 course meal, sparkling apple cider served in plastic wine glasses (all accessories from Oriental Trading Co.) They toasted the the birthday girl and had a blast at dinner. They had a blast! Afterwards the girls sat down at different stations (hair, nails, dress-up, makeup) in the house for their beauty makeover. The house was decorated with pink & purple everything, candles all over to give that spa kind of feel & we played Hilary Duff in the background. Afterwards, the girls had a fashion show and then we took pictures again for their "after" picture. The girls then got ready for bed, popped on a movie "Cheetah Girls", they opened gifts, had cake, danced, and had a great time! The girls had a hard time going home the next day! Fun fun night, but the next morning I needed my own day at the spa!
