For my daughter's eight birthday, we planned a makeover sleepover. Girls arrived at 7p.m. For the next hour, we ate dinner consisting of pizza and French fries.  Then girls played two games, one game being a roller drop game and the other being an estimation game. They had to drop a roller into a mason jar while standing on a ladder, then the girls had to estimate the number of rollers in a clear jar. Prizes for the games were a cute bag full of purse necessities, a mirror, comb, and brush. The winner of the estimation game got one of those cute bandanas for your hair. We then ate pink and purple frosted cupcakes which all had a cute pic in it for decoration.  Some were lipsticks or purses or high heels.  My daughter insisted that we have a piñata, so I found a cute one in the shape of a tube of lipstick it also doubled as a centerpiece for the table. we also planned to have a makeover relay with the winning team receiving barrettes as the prize.  An adult friend, also a Mary Kaye consultant, helped with this.  We sat in front of a team of girls who raced to us, pulled a make-up item out of the bag, then applied it to our faces.  Girls were given a time limit of 8 minutes to complete our faces.  This was a hoot.  Then the girls settles down to get manicures and pedicures with nail polish of their choosing. This was also a party favor. The next event was lights out and they were exhausted enough to get right to sleep. in the morning girls washed faces and brushed teeth and dressed.  Breakfast was a choice of cereal, mixed fruits, juices, milk and blueberry muffins.  Right before parents came to pick up, each girl got her face made up complete with lipstick, blush and eyeshadow. All guest took home a purse filled with lipgloss, her nail color, stick on earrings, candy necklaces and bracelets from the piñata, and plastic rings.  Everyone especially the birthday girl, had a great time.
