She's growing up!  (ages 10-13)  (Cost: $100-$120 includes dinner & favors)  The party started at about 2pm with my daughter & 5 of her friends. First we learned how to do a manicure, every girl got what she needed to do her own manicure to take home.  Next we fixed our hair, every girl got a booklet with ideas and instructions on different ways to fix their hair (from different new ways of using clips to braiding, etc...) plus some clips to take home with them. Next, now that they were all so beautiful, we took them all to the mall for a scavenger hunt.  We broke up into 2 groups of 3 girls each with an adult for each group.  Each group got 45 minutes to find as many animals (in stuffed, live or picture form) as they could find from the list provided (the adult marked their findings on the list to avoid cheating)  After the 45 minutes were up, we met back at a pizza place for dinner and to calculate the teams scores to determine a winning team.  The winning team got a stuffed animal and a $10.00 gift certificate to the mall. The second place team also got a $10.00 gift certificate to the mall. After dinner we allowed the girls 1 1/2 hours to spend their gift certificates. Then we dropped them off at home.  I've never had a party where so many parents actively attempted to find me to thank me on behalf of their child for such an enjoyable party!!  It was fun for the kids and even fun for me!
