I recently had my 12th birthday party. It was awesome and was talked about for weeks! It was a mall party and like I said before was a humongous success. The theme was a mall party.
INVITATIONS: The invitations that we made were made of printed transparent paper. They were glued on to a piece of construction paper(good quality) as were the details and everything on the
back side of the invitation. PARTY: Make sure that you invite some of your closer friends because the bigger amount of guests, the bigger amount of responsibility that you have. When everyone
arrived, I introduced everyone and then made up the teams. We then drove to our nearest mall and were provided with $20 and a disposable camera. We had an hour to get everything we needed and
take all the pictures necessary. We had to buy items like a pair of sensitive solution earrings from Claire's, ketchup packet from Hot Dog on a Stick, baby boy socks from BabyGap and more. We
also hod to tak some wacky pictures like putting on Saphire lipstick from Chanel and ask someone to take a picture of us blowing a kiss to the camera, put on some hats and give some of our
most "gangsta" looks, and go to See's and buy some lollipops and take a picture of us licking them. The cath was that we could only have total strangers taking the pictures! We made
each item and picture a certain amount of points depending on the difficulty level. AFTER THE PARTY: After the scavenger hunt we got to go shopping for an hour and then went to eat at a
chinese resturaunt in the food court as my dad went to go develop the pictures at Wal-Mart. We had a booth so we got to make noise and argue about who won and lost. GOING HOME: When we
arrived home, we looked at the pictures and items and tallied up all the points. My team ended up winning hehe. So we got $5 each and the other $3. Then we went to my room and watched
Aquamarine (which is a really good movie i have to say)while I passed out goodie bags which was a cool pop-up purse and contained things like candy, little games and trinkets. When the movie
ended, the parents arrived and picked everyone up. This was more succesful than I thought it would and I really reccomend that you should try it for your daughter!
