I was looking for a party idea for my 12th birthday. I had no idea what to do since all of my parties had been easy and average in the past. I wanted this one to count since my friends and i were all going into middle school. I wanted a party that would be fun and inexpensive. So then it hit me, why not have a Mall Scavenger Hunt? It would be fun and cheap! I invited 9 girls to my party and we were split into 3 groups of three. Each group was given 3 dollars and a list. Each group had to search for the thing on the list and write it down or buy it. An example: "Find the least expensive item in Claire's" or "buy something blue in JCPenney" The group with the most amount of money left and with the fastest time wins! Everyone gets a prize at the end. Food: For food, we headed up to the food court for pizza and cake. PARTY FAVORS: for favors, each girl got a small shopping bag with decorative ribbon that had hair stuff, candy, make up, and a small thank you note in the shape of a credit card. To finish off the party, a few of my friends came to my house for a sleepover. Everyone talked about my party for weeks! It was so much fun and a great way to start off my first year in middle school!
