For my daughter's 14th birthday, we are having a mall photo scavenger hunt. Each team of four girls (12 girls total) will be given a disposable camera, a copy of the rules, and a list of
"clues," (15 with 5 extra credit items) They have 2 hours to get as many of the photos as possible.
There is a mix of the kinds of things they are asked to get a picture of, one example is, "The family that 'goes' together, stays together"- picture your whole team here. (answer: the family restroom). Another clue asks the girls to "play with your food," and yet another to "picture yourself with a wild animal" (there is a carosel at our mall). When the time is up, we will meet at the food court before heading out to drop the cameras off at a one hour photo place and then DQ for ice cream. After the ice cream, we will pick up the photos and head home where the girls will get a chance to rank the photos for each item on the list(3,2,1) with me serving as a tie breaker. Choice of dollar store prizes goes to the team with the most "points" on down (we will do this white elephant style) until everyone has something. All extra credit items earn a piece of chocolate. Each girl will also get a small photo album (again, from the dollar store) to put her favorite photos in. After that, we will play a game and watch a movie depending on how late it is getting before lights out.
