Okay, so my 12th birthday is coming up, and I cant wait. I got the ideas from this site, but put my own twist on it.  OK, I like detailed stuff, so im breaking it down section by section  Section 1: PRE PARTY First, figure out who you want to invite. Keep it small, and an even number, including yourself. About two weeks before the party, Mail out invitations, or hand them out in school. Hint- make sure you do it secretly, like dropping it in a locker before class, and make a note asking the guest to keep it quiet, you couldn't invite everyone. Make the invitations as non suspicious as possible. Trust me- a lot of people will want to come, but you will want a small number.  Do not mention mall, unless you are eating there, but ONLY say the place your eating.  About two days before the party, have a parent go to the mall, and figure out tasks. Examples team member modeling a feather boa   team member modeling animal slippers  entire team posing in hats  team member modeling a pair of 5 inch heels team member modeling a purse entire team posing in sunglasses team member kissing a mannequin on the cheek   team member posing in a rocking chair  entire team posing with footballs team member posing in a leather jacket   team member playing a video or electronic game  team member posing with a poster of a handsome movie star team member modeling anything in an animal print  team member testing perfume worth over $40 per bottle team member writing a note with a feather pen   entire team posing in prom dresses How many doors are there in the mall?" pair of sensitive solution earrings from Claire's  ketchup packet from Hot Dog on a Stick  baby boy socks from BabyGap putting on Saphire lipstick from Chanel blowing a kiss to the camera put on some hats and give some of our most "gangsta" looks and buy some lollipops and take a picture of us licking them.  Go buy some jewelry from seeptloaoa (aeropostale) take a picture with a security guard. stand at the front of Nordstroms and say to people as they are walking in: welcome to old navy!" if you arent on the birthday girl's team if you pass them your team has to sing happy birthday. How much is the shirt that the mannequin in limited too's display window is wearing? Slow dance with a mannequin Taking a sample from the food court   Hint- don't come with your parent this should be fun for you have them surprise you.  A few days before the party have your parent call the guest's parents and make sure they know that the girls will at the mall by themselves. Also choose teams(which will be in pairs) You can do this in two ways. Randomly pick from a bag or hat OR sit with a parent and discuss who works well together who doesn't. I have two close friends who don't work together well AT ALL so I chose this method. The day of the party have your parent start decorating. Put some streamers in door ways and on fans and have helium filled balloons floating around. (plan the party time with enough time for you to decorate a little) Get colorful bowls and fill them with chips and candy and have fun glasses to drink soda from.I came up with an idea to put bite sized candies(m&ms skittles candy corn gummy bears) in plastic martini glasses as a center piece. Fun idea  Get your parents to let you decorate the car that you're taking. Fill it with balloons and maybe even use shaving cream for an exterior job. Was that the door bell? The party has officially begun!!!  Section 2: During the party- Not every single guest arrives at the very same time so have some things to do. Munch on stuff have them put their present somewhere. Have some background music. After all the guests have arrived head off to the mall. I'm planning on telling my guests were eating at California Pizza Kitchen because all my guests like pizza but im secretly not. When you get to the mall have you or your parent make an announcement Have it go a bit like this Hey! Guess what. PSYCH! We aren't eating at California pizza kitchen. BUT there is something we are here for. We have randomly selected pairs. You and the other person will go around the mall for the next hour and a half and find what the sheet in these bags tell you to do.(holds up bags) In here is twenty dollars a camera a cell phone and a scavenger hunt sheet.(you can add things in here) When we get into the mall you are free to go with your partner to complete all these tasks. My mom will be at the starbucks in the mall and her cell phone number is in there. Some rules- You MUST stay with your partner at all times. You may not contact other teams at all you must meet at the starbucks in ____ minutes. You may not spend more than what is in the envelope and whatever you have left must be returned to my parent. Keep all your receipts. A stranger must take your pictures on the designated tasks. Okay the partners are __ and __ __ and __ and __ and __. Have your parent wait at the designated place (like a starbucks). The team back with the most tasks completed gets a prize.  When all teams have arrived take the disposable cameras and bring them to a place to get them developed in an hour. While your waiting have the girls go get a simple pedicure. Hint- When we leave the mall We're calling my dad so he can order chinese food that will be ready when we get home.  When your done head home. On the car ride laugh about all the pictures about what you did etc. Go home and have a low key sleepover. I'm including movies a home spa maybe and games. Some ideas. Movies- chick flicks. John Tucker Must die mean girls and of course comedies. Talladega nights seems good.   Home spas are the coolest. You can buy facials and scrubs from your local drug store. Smooth on face for ten minutes and wash off. Mash one banana some honey and oatmeal and smooth onto face.  Games- have some classic truth or dare would you rather but twist it up with some of the original games I have here.  S   Honey I love you will you give me a smile? Sit in a circle and the birthday girl goes first. She must go up to one guest and say honey I love you. Will you give me a smile? the person being asked has to try and not smile and say  honey I love you but I will not give you a smile If this is said without any smile or giggle then the person in the middle has to sweet talk another guest. If the person she asked originally did smile they switch spots and the person has to charm another guest into smiling.  Warning- this game will get crazy really fast and will bring a lot of laughs. Classics- Truth or dare. Hint- with truths promise not to get mad at eachother and make a pinky swear that you realize this is in the past and you wont take anything by it. This is a risky game and my friends and I always take this oath to make sure no conflicts arise. Let each guest have three chickens on dares. Truths-  Have you ever talked about me behind my back? Have you ever kissed a guy? Who would you most want to go out with in our grade? Whats your worst habit? Whats your most disgusting habit? What's one thing NONE of us know about you? (if they say something you already knew they have to say something else) What was your most embarrassing moment? Think of some more   Dares-  Draw yourself a mustache with a crayola marker (must be on until morning) Go downstairs and do the chicken dance in front of my parents. Lean out the window and sing twinkle twinkle Let us hear you sing (seriously)    This is simple but have some good food and drinks for afterward  Go into the kitchen and have plastic cups set out.  Serve breakfast like muffins donuts or bagels or even some pancakes. Have small goodie bags with lipglosses photo albums etc.  Hope your party is fun! "
