For my 9th birthday party, I had 5 friends over and we went to mall of America. My mom had created a scavenger hunt in advance for us to do there. We divided into 2 teams, and each team got a list and a disposable camera. We had to go around the mall and take pictures of the things that were on the list, then meet back at a certain time and see who got the most done. Some of the things were 'person with strange hairstyle', 'twins wearing the same clothes', 'the word red on a sign'... stuff like that. You got bonus points if group members were in the picture with the people of object. Afterwards we went to a Pizza place and had pizza, cake, and opened gifts. It was a blast!! We also took in the film while we ate our pizza so we could judge the winners after.
