for my daughters 3rd birthday I made her a Disney's the little mermaid birthday it turned out great I made most of the decorations I made tropical flowers out of constitution paper 12 of them I place them in to vases and then added latex mermaid balloons I made place mats to match the dishes I got 25 Mylar balloons a little tip rent the helium tank ...I order a inflatable flounder from birthday express an hung it from the ceiling above the table. I also made a treasure chest out of a card board box an covered with solid wrapping paper .an decorated with gold coins an gold beads . an filled will mermaid dolls .for the girl an wind up swimmers for the boys . candy, beaded necklaces . I also got A large card board box open it flat ,I painted a ocean an fish on it an hung it on the door entering my home ..I also bought yellow inexpensive paper bag for the treasure hunt .an Dec, them with fish an ocean . for goodie bags for table I got the mermaid bags .an put bubbles water guns butterfly clips sun glasses . I also bought the mermaid sound track .an played it thur out the party .the kids loved it I also had THE LITTLE mermaid an prince Eric come to the party an they did balloon animals an face painting games etc. they all loved it .they played out in a pool an played out on a jumper ,ballpit, kiddy lagoon I bought at Wal-Mart a patio set with the kids loved it. we had a mermaid cake with all the mermaids friends on it really was so nice an I started paying for it 2 months before but here an there I did little things so its not so hard as it sounds ..it really turned out great she still talks about it today . ..
