Disney Birthday  We had just returned from a trip to Disneyland a month or so before my little girl's fourth birthday. I believe this is what made her choose a Disney theme for her birthday party.  I made invitations from cardstock and stickers which resembled our flex passes that we had just used at Disneyland; only these passes were entitled Birthday Flex passes.  Each child was invited to dress as their favorite Disney character or to wear something that had a Disney character on it.  My little girl wore her Snow White Halloween costume.  We had some adorable little kids show up for the party!! We decorated using stuffed animals (Disney characters of course), Disney movies, crepe paper, and balloons.  While the kids arrived, we sat on the floor and played a game that we like to play on long car trips.  I would sing a Disney song and the kids would tell me what movie the song was from.  Once all of the kids arrived, I sang my last song which was from Alice and Wonderland, a Very Merry Unbirthday.  This was a nice segway into our first activity.  We were going to make Mad Hatter Hats. I had gotten the idea from a business trip to an industry conference. At one of the evening events, a group had taken large paper grocery bags and formed them into a silly looking top hat. I painted each of the children's hats with spray paint several days prior and had them laid out on the table.  I had a box in the center of the table filled with jewels, feathers, plastic eggs, stickers, Easter grass, die cuts, and anything else I had laying around the house. The kids decorated their Mad Hatter hats. They loved them and didn't take them off through the entire party!  After the kids were done decorating their hats, we played pin the tail on Eeyore.  I had purchased this game online at Birthday Express. Along with that game, I had gotten a tape of Disney Birthday Party songs which had a collection of Disney songs to play musical chairs with.  For goodies, I had found individual cake pans in the shape of Mickey Mouse. I made individual Mickey Cakes for each of the children. I had them laid out on the table with frosting, candies, sprinkles, etc. for each child to decorate their own cake (we used the thin rope licorice to make a bow tie for Mickey and a hairbow for Minnie).  They loved it!  The goodie bags are easy for a party like this. Just pick up anything Disney.  I had found Snow White goodie bags at a local discount shop. Inside I put Mickey suckers, a Winnie the Pooh Pencil, a Disney storybook (I found several different books at a local dollar store), and other Disney treats that I found.    It was a fun party! The best part for the kids and the parents were the Mad Hatter Hats.  We have used them for school activities and other parties since then.
