It was my daughter Parina's 3rd B'day & at that time she was getting crazy about all Disney Characters as she had been to Disneyland here a number of times. So she asked me to organise a Disney theme Party for her. It was a party for about 20 kids with their mothers. As for invitation cards I printed them on a thick paper with a few major disney characters like Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy & Pluto. Printed them with the Walt disney Font with all details of party on it. For the Dress code I asked all children to dress in Disney Clothes & accessories as it is quite easily available in HK. The child with the most clothes & accessories won a Prize. It was quite surprising that a lot of them took pains to dress up in disney character clothes and clips n rubberbands & necklaces etc.. For Decoration I managed to get a lot of disney character posters which i put all over the drawing room. I also got Balloons in shape of Mickey face which were quite colorful & took everybody for a surprise. I made a banner on computer with Parina's Picture in between major Disney characters and got it printed from a printing press. It came out Amazing. Entertainment. 1.I organised a Pooh & Friends scavage hunt for da kids. I had about 7-8 pooh and Frends soft toys which added to Decor as well. Kids had to find all da characters n they all got fancy wrist bands. Girls got Princess and boys got Mickey bands. 2.For the game I kept Character Musical chairs. Stuck a cutting of as many characters. 1 on each chair n asked kids to go around. There had to be as many chairs as da childern. I withdrew a character name 1 by 1 n kids kept going out. Not to dissapoint the kids i gave them each a Disney Sticker Pack. And da winner got a Disney Game.3. For 3rd entertainment I kept Disney Pairs Game. I printed pics of all disney pairs like Mickey & Minnie, Donald & Diasy, Jasmine & Alladin etc together. Stuck them on a hard board n then cut it in 2 pcs so as both characters get seperated. Gave 1 pc to all childern n then whoever finds his or her pair first is a couple winner. Kids enjoyed this game quite alot. Then there was a Mickey & Friends Pinata with loads of goodies & Choclates inside. I tried to stick to more n more of Disney goodies available in the stores. For the return gifts I gave children stationery & other useful things like a CD box, a magazine holder and a Big Zipper folder all in Disney characters according to their age. eg. 1yr olds got Pooh. 3yrs & under got Mickey minnie. 3 yrs n above got Princess. etc..For the Cake I ordered a Red cake with all da 6 major Characters on it & I wore a Red T-shirt with Disney characetrs on it being the Host. I could see the children had a blast at the Party & alot of people complemented for the arrangemnets.My daughter was really happy and her list for another theme party went on & on after that.
