For our daughter's 9th birthday, we wanted to plan something extremely special for her, as only a month later she was going to be a big sister! We came up with "Girl's Night Out!".
Our daughter chose her favorite color (purple) for paper decorations and balloons which we blew up and scattered all over the floor in our home. I made the fancy invites which read: "A
Birthday Party for Hannah, we hope you wont be late...as if you are, you're sure to miss your date!" We hired a limo, to take the girls out to a family Mexican restaurant which our
daughter chose. My husband and I sat in a different booth from the girls, and they loved that! From the restaurant, the limo took the girls to a large family arcade where they rode race cars,
bumper boats and played games. From the arcade, the limo driver then brought them to our home where we all had cake. The party finished up as a slumber party, and in the morning I made the
girls pancakes. The entire evening was catered to our daughter and her closest friends. They all were treated as royalty. This was a fabulous party and much loved by all the girls and their
parents too! Parental supervision is always important, and my husband and I got a kick out of the limo ride as well. I would recommend this party for the ages of: mature 9 year olds and up.
