Party Supplies

Here is what I did for my 12th brithday: Its a version of the kidnapp party. To prep for this party we sent out fake invites saying the sleepover party would start at 2 on saturday. Then we called the moms of the guests and told them the real plans. The moms are allowed to pack a bag with any medications etc. and a present but NOTHING else. Also they CANT tell the girls about the REAL plans for the party. The day started out at about 7:30 (it can be earlier). We (my mom, me, my older brother and my brothers freind) drove to each of my 5 closest friends houses. At each house my brother and his freind (dressed in black with face masks) ran into the house and woke up my freinds. I video taped the whole thing. THe girls were allowed to get dressed and grab the bags the moms had packed. After all the girls were picked up we went back to my house for breakfast. Mom had a HUGE breakfast buffet with all kinds of food set out. After that the real party started. Since we all had just a a small bag and the clothes we were wearing my mom explained to us that throughout the day we would be doing different challenges to "earn" our sleepover necessities (and some fun stuff). The first thing we did was to pile in the carand drive to the local mall. Once there, my mom gave out $25 dollar gift cards and told us that we had to buy as much of an outfit as we could with that money in a half hour. This was harder then it sounds! The outfits were for the next day. After that we had a mall scavenger hunt. We had to do all sorts of crazy (but fun) things in the mall. Some examples: take a picture of each person on a kiddy ride, get a picture in a photo booth, find some money, get a picture with a mall employee etc. there were ten things on the list. If we got 8 done we got our toiletries bag (makeup, toothbrush, toothpast, mini shampoo, conditioner, hairbrush etc.) If we got all ten things done on the list we also got jumbo candy bars. For this activitie mom gave us her digital camera, a watch and 5 bucks. Next we all got back into the car for lunch at McDonalds, then we drove to the rollar skating rink. On the way there we played group dare. We drew dares out of a hat and had to get out of the car and do them. They included things like: get out of the car and build a snowman etc. AFter that we got moshy pillows. Next we went rollar skating. Then we got back in the car and did another challenge. This was a fear factor type challange: we had to eat gross LOOKING foods. The trick was that none of the foods tasted that bad, but they all looked REALLY gross. For instance my mom drinks this fruit juice that's icky green colored so when you see it you are like EWWW but its actually not that bad. For eating all the gross things, we got rewarded with dinner out for pizza. All the girls ended up up eating the foods, but only because my mom told us we would have to go home and eat meatloaf if we didnt. LOL:) At dinner we had cake and did presents. Lastly after dinner we went back to my house for a sleepover. WE had snacks, played a few games, and just hung out and watched movies and stuff. THis was a REALLY fun party and all my freinds are still talking about it almost a year later. I recomend a version of this party to any girl who wants to have a fun a different party. good luck with your party!                                               ~SARAH~!
