I am throwing my step-daughter a Bunco Party for her tenth. Wow, the kids are growing up too fast! She wanted bunco, so we did it. I am a party planner/wedding planner/event
planner, so this went up right my alley! I would recomend it to my next clients!
Well this is the invitations. I dont want to buy fancy invites. There will be 30 girls at the party. I send invites in the emails, they reply. You can choose or design your own. I designed one. Decorations: I decided to get pink dice to make it girly, and pink and lime green table covers for the tables they would be playing at, and basically a lot of decorations. It was cute. I had little confetti on the tables. Schedule: Yes, I am doing a schedule. I think it keeps it neat. The girls get out of school a few hours, before they normally do, so they can go home and pack and all. Here is the schedule: 4:30 pm- Girls arrive. The girls wait in the basement and listen to music/dance eat tacos or pizza and have a fun time. 5:30 pm- The birthday cake and ice cream. We will have more choices of ice cream. Cotton Candy, Cookies and Creame, Chocolate, Vanilla, Strawberry, lots! We will also have many desserts. 6:30 pm- I was thinking of hiring teenagers or people who play bunco, to help out. But I got many parent voulunteers to help out. At 6:30 pm- We were going to tell the girls how it will work, the game, the groups, etc. 7:00 pm- The girls begin playing. Very fun. 9:00 pm- The girls end. My step-daughter will open presents as parents are tally-ing up the scores. 9:30 pm- Winners and the Winner, First Runner Up and Loser get prizes. Everybody gets a prize, too, for participating. Then the girls go down stairs and we deliver smoothies. 10:00 pm- The girls leave. It will be a long party! But I think they will have fun! For the participation gifts: We will give them a trophy, a little kit, and a glitter bouncy ball (those big ones). For the Winner, 1st runner up and Loser, we have random things. For the goody bag- We will have a Smencil, a Lolli Pop, a $5 Gift Card to Chick Fil A, and A movie to watch at home that night. We will have a sleep over the following night. Just 10 girls, counting the birthday girl. Cupcakes, not cake. It would be nice. We are taking the girls to a movie, and they can do a normal sleepover at home. I bet my step-daughter will love it and the party WAS a big investment. But to see the smile on her face the day of the party, it will be ALL worth it :)
