For my daughter's 2nd birthday we wanted to do a CANDY THEME. We ordered the invitation paper from www.polkadotdesigns.com. We worded them Sweet as candy good as gold our little sweetie is 2 years old! Come join us for lots of sweets and treats at Isabella's Sweet Party Feast". We had the party at the park and under the "Place" position on the invitation i put "Isabella's Candyland". The colors of the party were Teal bright pink orange yellow and red. The basic colors of a lollipop. We got 4 jars (2 tall and 2 fat) to fill with candy. The jars i decorated with bright pink and white polka dot ribbon and Bright orange and white polka dot ribbon. Also there were 3 clear bowls of more candy. For the tables i bought real big lollipops. And instead of confetti i went to Hobby Lobby in the Christmas section and got a couple packs of miniature lollipop ornaments. For the decoration at the corners of the pavillion i got 2 different sized styrofoam circles spraypainted them to match a Lollipop stuck sticks into them to resemble a giant sucker and wrapped them in mylar. For her party hat i got a regular party hat got some polkadot fabric to stick to it and trimmed it in bright orange fur. The cake i had made for her was shaped like a wrapped colorful peppermint. A 6"circle in the middle and a square cake cut in half to resemble the ends ties of a peppermint. I also did cupcakes each having the icing of all the different colors of the party. For the favor bags each one was a different color and was tied to gether with ribbon. A few toys and lots of candy filled it. We also had a Red star shaped pinata with more candy in it. We really didn't have chocolate at the table in fear it would melt. We had this party at a park so the entertainment was already provided. We cooked Jambalaya with bread rolls and had differnt colored drinks for the kids. The majority of napkins plates and cups were the variety of colors but we had accents of napkins and a few plates that were striped with the colors as well. WHAT A FUN SWEET PARTY!!!"
