I wanted to do something for my sons 4th birthday party that he liked to do so we had a doctor's party. I took a picture of him with a white shirt on and a toy stethoscope to put on the front of the invitation.  The front had Dr. (my son's name) invites you to(insert last name) Hospitalö.  Inside I had Date of Visit (date of party) Time of Exam: Hospital Address: I wanted to do something for my sons 4th birthday party that he liked to do so we had a doctor's party. I took a picture of him with a white shirt on and a toy stethoscope to put on the front of the invitation.  The front had Your invited to (insert last name) Hospitalö.  Inside I had Date of Exam (date of party) Time of Exam,Hospital Address:, Condition: 4th Birthdayitis Symptoms: Silliness, Happiness, all over goofiness Remedy: Spend time with friends and family and eat birthday cake.  On the left side I inserted clipart of a nurse followed by " To confirm/cancel your appointment please call Nurse (my name) or email our office at Dr.(my son's name)by (date). I created a temporary email for him through my ISP.  I made doctor kits as favors for the kids. I cut white paper lunch bags in half, cut handles out of black construction paper and stapled on to each bag.  Red crosses cut from  construction paper were glued to the front and  a few bandaids stuck on the back. I filled it with fruit bars, raisins and other goodies.   The left-over white paper from the bags were cut into strips for doctor headbands.  I cut circles from card stock (any thick paper or old greeting cards will do).  Each circle was covered with a piece of tinfoil and stapled to the front of the headband so they looked like spotlights.   These were given to the guests to wear as they arrived. For games I had the kids trace an adults hand and forearm onto paper and stick bandaids all over the drawings.  They loved the challenge of opening the bandaids and sticking them on the paper. We sang This is the way we (wash hair, brush teeth, etc, all health things).  I had coloring pages of a doctor and patients for the kids to color. I had a friend make a simple homemade cake with a doctor and doctor symbols around the edges (stethoscope, bandaid, cross, etc.) My husband blew up white balloons and using a black marker drew doctor items on it (ambulance, stethoscope, stitches, crutches. Etc). (Use your discretion with use of balloons). Everyone really enjoyed it. We stayed at home and it reminded everyone of their younger years!
