My 12 year old son is having a movie night for his end of thee school year celebration. I went to the local everything is a dollar store and purchased 15 Large Popcorn buckets and 15 small
popcorn buckets(2 for a dollar) to serve popcorn in. The Large buckets are being used as take home favors which will include movie items (sunglasses, bottled water, 1 large box of candy, and
unpopped bag of popcorn). The Invitations were shaped like theater tickets and I printed out a picture of a popcorn bucket and made a small opening and inserted the ticket in the picture of
the popcorn box, and placced the invitations in small invitation envelopes, which my son handed out at school. We have a theater room with theater chairs and extra chairs will be set up for
extra seating.Everyone will gather in the Kitchen (mocked as a concession stand) and pick their refreshments before 6pm movie time. A Black Curtain will be hung at the bottom of the stairs
and left closed until movie time. I have large signs (purchased at the local party city) going up the stairs leading to the theater room with the red carpet. During Intermission the kids will
come back downstairs for Pizza, Hot Dogs, Nachos,
Home Made Slushies (Made with a smoothie machine), or their choice of sodas, or water. At the end of the movie they will go home with the popcorn boxes filled with goodies.
