Hey this is a really cool party for all ages. I looked at the website and saw 2 really fun ideas BUT i couldnt choose between a backyard dance party and a movie party. So i combined the 2. 1st i had the guests come over around 6:30. Next everyone goes into the backyard which is decorated in ligts streamers and balloons(you can put up whatever decor you want). we were all dancing and having a blast. i did something all my friends loved. its called revolving d.j. i had everyone bring thier favorite cds. and once people arrived with thier cds they would all get a chance to play 2 or 3 of thier favorite songs.when everyone had played thier songs the movie portion would start. my mom let me rent a screen and a projector we brought alot of the couches and chairs out side and set them up in movie theater style. we had my guests help out. they shouldnt mind, its polite. you can get whatever kind of movie you like. i got a couple movies to choose from;a scary movie and some comedies. ask your guests to vote on which movie to watch. most voted for the scary movie. Since it was at night it was really scary, but really fun. during the movie everyone was eating thier cake. you can have a table out there for beverages and serving cake. parents can start arriving at 9:30 to 10:00 or earlier its up to your parents. you can have some of your friends spend the night and have a great breakfast the next day.In the morning we did an easy fun activity. we got some old jeans and cut out the pockets. earlier i had bought some patches  glitter feathers and other fun stuff like that. Add straps made out of pretty ribbons and glue on the decor. now youve got a cute little purse. i know i had a blast at my party i hope you have fun at yours!!!
