Theater:
Playing Nintendo Game Cube on the BIG SCREEN Birthday Party and Movie afterwards. Hi, this year my almost 10yr old son and I are planning to rent a theater room at the local theater house that offers cheap movie prices on movies that were already out in theaters months ago as the setting for his birthday bash. They offer to let you rent the theater for $35/hour and hook up your child's video game so they can play it on the big screen. You can bring as many or as few kids as need be. We will be hosting the party in October, 2004. I plan on bringing in my own pizza, soda & cake. (Offered by theater for an additional charge or can bring your own stuff.) Then, after 1 and 1/2 hours of playtime, eating and presents, we will let the kids watch a movie (whatever will be available at the time). My son really looks forward to playing his Game Cube with his friends on the Big Screen. They can hook up as many as 4 systems at a time, granted you supply all required wiring, system, etc. I plan on making invitations to appear like a movie ticket, admitting one with the option to bring their own system as well. (Granted they must be the same system and same game to play as a group.) This is a great idea for boys aging from 8-12 yrs old.
