Let's go to the movies was the theme. 102 Dalmatians We went the day after Thanksgiving. There were 15 kids and 8 adults. I could not find the invitations, so I made them on the computer,
using items from PrintMaster Gold. On the front was people sitting watching a movie with curtains just like in a real theater. Inside there was a
soda, popcorn and a ticket stub(admit 1 child). I also put a marquee stating the place, what was playing and the location. On the other side I put the date, the time and said admit 1 child with popcorn and drink. On the back side I had cut out ticket stubs(with the child's name and a paw print)and attacked it with a Dalmatian sticker, so it was easy to remove, and said to please return stub if you are coming. It was one of the easiest parties I have ever done and it really didn't cost any more than other parties, because we had no cake or ice cream and no gift bags. There soda came in Dalmatian Cups, so that was theirs to take home. She opened the presents after the movie, right in the theater, and I also took pictures. I used the return ticket stubs(that I had made on the computer) and added them with pictures to her scrapbook. I had so many parents telling me that they had never seen a cuter invitation, and what a neat idea. These children were first and second graders. They all loved it. My child, Tori, loves the movies and she said it was one of the best birthdays she had ever had. I hope next year will be as easy.
