Birthday at the Movies.  The Birthday person arrives at the movie theatre, greeted by the party participants. Additional decor:  A red carpet to honor the birthday person as if they were the famous star of the movie.  Confetti could be optional.  A banner made by the attendees in lieu of gifts, with all of their signatures on it. Arrangements with the theatre to have popcorn and colas as the mid-movie treat. And sparklers could be lite on the outdoor steps of the theatre after to show to illuminate the appearance of the "star" after the show.
