Murder Mystery Party 11 yr girls sleepover  As guests arrived the girls played Mafafia (the winking murder game).  For our murder mystery party we borrowed from the library a murder mystery video "Murder at the Guild Inn". We followed the instructions for the video which had three stopping points. Everyone was given a character in the video and a matching badge with their characters name and photo. Each girl was given a clipboard and a cool looking pen to write down clues they found and answers to questions they received during questioning times. During one of the breaks I served appetizers (pizza bites and pigs in a blanket) and sparkling cider in champagne glasses. The girls loved feeling grown up with the champagne glasses and appetizers! After the murderer was revealed we did a craft of painting the back of the clip boards. The clipboards dried overnight.  It was a lot of fun and I was surprised how "into" the girls were trying to figure out who dunit!
