Ok well I am doing a murder mystery party for my b-day. (if you don't know what that is its like that one episode of "lizzie maguire" where they have that party or whatever (but mine is going to be like a million times better than that!!) and mine has a different theme.    my theme is 'miss teen usa' and its about this contestant that gets killed during the competition and you have to try to figure out who killed her and why. (the game is also kind of like Clue the board game only not as board-ish and a lot more fun because I HATE CLUE.) Anyways we're going to do the mystery (which lasts like 2-3 hours) and then have a "normal" sleepover    in the invitations that I'm sending out, I'm including a packet with your character's (yes, I get to pick which character you are going to be- HA HA!!!!) name, info, and stuff like that. also, each character comes with info on why they could be the murderer (every character has a reason why) also, the theme of the party is kinda fancy (the murder takes place at a banquet for the finalists in the pageant) so try to find something semi-formal to wear. you DON'T have to go out and buy something, just borrow something from your mom (that's what I'm doing) or a friend or something.    anyways, try to look "pageant-y" or whatever (high heels, dress......fancy stuff) I'm probably wearing one of my moms old black dresses and high heels but it doesn't really matter.   if you are the murderer, you'll find out towards the beginning of the party, but the whole point is that if you know you are the murderer, DON'T TELL ANYONE!! That will wreck the party because once you tell someone, the "mystery" part of the party will be done because the whole POINT of the party is to find out who killed her.   every character packet comes with info on your character such as personality, and during the party you are supposed to act how you think your character would act, not how you would act in real life.
