Magical Party (age 4) I planned on having a magician for my four year old's birthday. I invited children from the age of two all the way up to age 15. (Most of them were
under the age of six).
First off, I needed to make sure the children would sit for the magician, so I made a magic carpet for each child. I bought 14" by 22" white poster board and full sheet labels. I printed on the label sheets, magic hats with stars coming out of them an placed one on each poster board. I also printed "(Child's name) MAGIC CARPET" and put the name on the top and "Magic Carpet" on the bottom. Instead of goody bags, I bought black plastic magic hats and filled them with a few magic toys (the disappearing quarter was a big hit - which I got from Oriental Trading Company). I also printed on the labels "(Child's name) THE GREAT" and put one on each hat. Magic wands were a must! The magician was phenomenal he included each child and not only were the children impressed the adults were as well. The adults went home with a goody bag as well, I baked brownies, cut them and put them in brown paper bags and labeled each bag with the adults name. What a hit everyone went home with a goody bag and a great memory!!!
