For daughter's 6th, we did Mary Kate & Ashley "mystery twins" party. Hand-made decoders shaped like magnifying glasses and gave each girl a numbered message in code.  After girls decoded their message, they lined up according to the number on their message and read off their message in turn...messages combined became a clue for where to find the birthday cake.  They also watched one of the Olsen mystery movies.
