For my birthday, I decided to celebrate with my best friend. We decided that we wanted to do our party together. We had always dreamed of doing a dance party, so that was decided. But then we still needed a theme. We had decided on a masquerade, but we changed our mind to a glow in the dark party.  INVITATIONS: our invitation will be sent via email.  We decided on a background with disco balls for the invitations. We also made a note under it with a little rhyme about our party. We invited almost everyone in our grade, which was a total of 46. FOOD: we decided to serve chips and candy and then also some homemade cupcakes. For drinks we bought as many sodas as we could afford! DECORATIONS AND LIGHTING: for the decorations we bought a lot of glow sticks and the I mean A LOT! We bought some cheap 1$ posters and spraypainted them with glow in the dark spraypaint! We also bought some cheap glow in the dark stars and hung them on the ceiling. For lighting we bought some bright disco lights on amazon! Since we were paying for the party ourselves, our budget was limited! We also bougyt some other little cheap glow in the dark things to accesorize ourselves. MUSIC AND GAMES: as I said before our budget was limited so we decided not to rent a DJ for the party. For the music we just made a playlist on grooveshark and put as many good songs on there as possible. We also made a sheet for requests and made sure to put a lot of slow songs in the mix! We decided we were a little old for games!   FAVORS: at the end everyone wen't home with at least one glowing thing.  ACTIVITIES: we had a girl's versus boys dance contest and played a lot of limbo. CAKE: for a cake we had a lot of georgetown cupcakes with our initials on a gliwing tray.
