My party idea is to have a Hollywood/ Award Show Party. This should be for children 9-13.       For invitations I found some cute popcorn invitations on partycity.com but they can also be found at Party City. They are called Movie Night Jumbo Invitations in case anyone wants to look at them. Anyway they are really cute and even though they are called jumbo, they are not so jumbo. On the invitations tell them to wear something casual and bring something fancy.     For decorations I got the basic kind of things at Party City but Oriental Trading has some Hollywood Stuff too. I got plates, lunch napkins, a movie themed table cover, directors cut cups, black and gold utensils.... stuff like that. For my party idea you need a couple of rooms for different reasons. You need a set, a premiere room, a dressing room, and a restaurant room. All of the rooms can be decorated differently.       For the main activity you have to pick a house hold item, a game, a toy- whatever thing you want that you want the kids to adevertise. You only have to pick one thing. Then, acording to however many people that are at your party, you will put them into groups. I will probobly have 15 kids at my party so my groups will have 3 people each. Anyway, with my vedio camera I will make commercials for these objects. But the kids at my party will pretend that they are celebrities so they will say stuff like I Stacy Wu have 12 webkinz animals. They are so fun to play with. Get a webkinz now or I Tiffany Burton just love the book Gooney Bird Greene. The characters are so different for example Gooney Bird loves telling stories and Keiko is a crybaby." things like that. But then the other "stars" come onto the comercial and stay stuff like "I also have webkinz. I just love them." or " The book Gooney Bird Greene is my favorite book." The scripts can be as funny or serious as you want just give the actresses or actors some time before the taping to reherse their lines.     You can have simple games at this party like tag pin the tail on the Jonas Brother Hide and take a picture. Original games with hollywood ideas. My favorite is hide and take a picture. It is like hide and seek but the seeker is paperatzzi and when they see someone they have to take a picture of them.     After the games evryone gets dressed up in their fancy outfits and ready for the Award Show. If you want you can have a station where kids can get their hair curled or straitened and also they can put on make up. When everyone gets all done they walk down the red carpet (my hallway) and get to the premiere room. There we will show all of the comercials and then my mom will give the kids each an award for some different catagory like most beleivable prettiest face and the group that was best of all they each will get something like a barbie doll a beading set stuff like that.     For the party dinner I made up this restaurant that we be in my dining room. I named it Celebrity Hot Spot but you can name it whatever you want. I had stuff like Hannah Montana Hot Dog and Selena Gomez Spaghtti. My parents will be the waiters and waitresses and maybe some other parents will help out.     For the dessert I will have Demi Lavato Doughnuts Ashley Tisdale Apple Pie and maybe a small cake from Baskin Robbins. On the back I put pictures of all the stars that had their names on the menu.      For favors I got little favor boxes and sunglasses for the favors. Also in the boxes there are a couple pictures of the kids in there too and their award. I hope you like my idea."
