For my 12th birthday party, I had a Dance Party, I must say it was the best party yet!! INVITATIONS: For my invitations, I invited 9 of my friends, so I made 9 hand made invitations, all different, with things like dancing people, disco balls etc. It said You're invited to my 12th birthday dance and karaoke party. It will be from _______ (time) to ________(time) on ______ (date) at ______(adress). Bring your dancing shoes and singing voice. Please R.S.V.P by ______(date) at ________ (phone number). DECORATIONS: For Decorations, I had all the lights off (It was at night) I had had 2 types of lights, One was like a siren light (without the noise), one purple, and one blue, I also had a colored dots spinning light. I blew up about thirty helium balloons, with the kit I bought, and let them hang from the ceiling, in the dining room, where we ate, I bought dangling swirls and stars and hung them on the ceiling. Activities: As the activities, we had a karaoke contest, then I asked all the guests to write down the singer that they thought was the best, I tallied them up, then the winner, received a giant blow up microphone. I also had a Dance contest, we did the same with the karaoke contest, I tallied them up, and the winner got a blow up guitar. Then we danced for a while, and the guests got to pick the songs. COSTUMES: For Costumes, we decided to be crazy, I bought different colors of cheap wigs, and my friend who help set the party up, brought lots of costumes, as she has a big family. PARTY SNACKS: For snacks, we just had the usual, fruits and veggies, chips, and my Mom made nachos. Instead of cake, we had a Make-Your-Own-Sundae bar. FAVORS: For the loot bag, I found purse like bags to put the favors in. I had candies, mini chocolate bars, and each of them had a mini blow up microphone.
