Hey, well I decided to have a medium size party so I can have a huge 16th party. It's going to be in three areas: My backyard, carport and front room. Because I don't have a basement or garage, I'm going to cover the front of the carport with black material. INVITATIONS: i designed little invites that have a grey and purple shaded brick wall and white writing. I'm inviting about 30 people and tried to even out the number of boys and girls. DECORATIONS: I'm just gonna hang as many christmas lights as I can find In the dance area. I'm also going to rent some blacklights, flahing lights, a disco ball and a smoke machine and have lava lamps everywhere. Also, next to the dance floor I'm going to make a little area with beanbags and pillows for people to hang out. my friends are going to help me break open glow sticks and throw the neon stuff inside them around the dance floor area so the walls and ground glow. It washes off or wares off after a few days. MUSIC: I'l just plug my ipod into speakers and play really fun songs like black eyed peas, JT, rihanna, Timbaland, cascada and lots of songs on the charts st the time. My friend who djs will come for the second part of the party. FOOD: I'l order pizza halfway throught the night and have tons of snacks like chips, chocolate and energy drinks like red bull so everyone's awake to dance! If people don't want to dance, I'm hiring a projector screen that I can pug my playstation in with singstar, a dance mat or car racing for guys. If I can get good prices on rentals , this should be a really cheap party and tons of fun. I'l have money left over to buy a great outfit, and also a little tiara coz it's my special day! I'm also having my closest friends come in the morning to help set up and we can all do each others hair and make up. Wish me luck my party's in a few weeks! Hope everyones parties go well. xxx
