So my party this year was the best party ever! Here is how it all went down:  INVITATIONS: My mom had purchased packs of invitations that included 10 invitations for 50 cents each, but she lost them so we went back to office depot and got pretty printing paper with a colorful damask pattern that contained 25 papers for about 3 dollars, and a matching envelope in the color blue. I went to the paper's website, and downloaded the format and replaced the sample information with my information: You're invited to Addison's 12th Spa and Sleepover Party! When: December 10, 2011 5:30 PM (Saturday) - 10:00 AM (Sunday) Where: My address  RSVP: My contact info Bring a robe, slippers, a sleeping bag, and anything else you may need for spending the night! To avoid any siblings, I didn't want to be rude but I added You're one of Addison's 11 special guests!"  GUEST LIST: Since my house is pretty big but not too big I decided to invite 11 girls. I originally was going to invite around 6 but I didn't want to leave anyone out. All of the girls know someone else from the party so I had already decided partners ahead of time so everyone would feel included. My friend from the bus stop knows my best friend so they were partners. My friend from somewhere else who knew no one else was my partner etc. It ended up being a good amount of people! Decorations: I wanted to go over-the-top because my mom hadn't purchased any super-expensive things (limo bounce house etc.) so we went down to Bed Bath and Beyond and purchased a good size chocolate fountain for 29.99 which was a great amount. We set that up and made it have delicious milk chocolate and set it up on the island next to the bar-stools and we placed skewers on a plate that was supposed to be for sushi and the guests dipped the foods we had put on the island (strawberries marshmallows spongecake etc) It was a BIG hit. We also wanted a spa-atmosphere so we placed on the bar we use for breakfast carrots w/ ranch cucumbers peanut butter and apples and other finger-foods. We also had in the beginning of the party set out fruit flavored water lemonade vitamin water Snapple etc. We also had tortilla chips because that is an inside joke between all of us and other dips. I chose the living room as the "spa room" because it is big and has no breakables. It is really big and the furniture was propped in the corner already so the couches and coffee table was the waiting room. We had purchased fashion magazines and teen magazines and placed them on the coffee table we had a relaxing spa CD playing in the background and placed the furniture so they room felt "private". In the waiting room people nibbled on cucumbers and chatted with their partners and other partners. We had purchased door fringe for the living room also. My mom hired two people from spas and they operated two stations. One was manicures and people chose from a vast array of nail polishes.  The other was facials and that person gave really good facial masks! We took funny pictures with our masks on then we washed them off. After the spa part we went back to the kitchen and had different types of pizza: cheese pepperoni and my favorite: white pizza (no sauce only cheese and bread!) Then we talked for a bit and played games I had set up for( Shown later) I had also covered one small wall in my room in copy paper and people could draw. I have a leather couch-ish bed that has a second mattress. 2 People slept on the top part of my bed someone slept on my chair (really fluffy long don't worry it was good quality3000  dollars!) those were for people with no sleeping bags and other people slept on sleeping bags in my room.  After playing games People left at 11:00 and we stayed up played games and watched movies like vampires suck.  GAMES: Mummy: People are divided into 2 teams and are given a few rolls of toilet paper. Whichever team wraps the chosen person up as a mummy first wins a prize. Twister Karaoke (Youtube) Just dance 3 etc.  GIFT BAGS: Bath and Body Works lotion B&BW hand sanitizer candies peel off facial masks lip gloss etc. In the morning we woke up and ate a buffet of fruit pancakes waffles etc. We talked and I opened presents and then everyone left. As everyone was leaving I handed out gift bags. It was awesome!"
