Hi! For my 13th party, which was a HUGE success, I did a Christmas in March party. INVITATIONS: For the invitations, I typed up the information on regular paper, copied and pasted an animated
picture of Santa Claus on his sleigh with reindeer, put 3-D snowflake stickers around the borders, and gave them to my friends. On the invitations, I typed at top MERRY CHRISTMAS! YOUR
INVITED TO KATHERINE'S CHRISTMAS IN MARCH BIRTHDAY" Followed my the date and times. DECORATIONS: The day before my party I covered my house in lights! We put lights in the bushes on the
house even on my dog (the day of the party :P) We put up the tree but left it bare. I cut out snowflakes and taped them above the doorway and put a Santa in the yard. The day of the party I
set the table with a red table cloth with Santa trim on the bottom Santa plates and snowflake glasses. ACTIVITIES: I had my dad dress up as Santa Claus and my friends got to sit on his
lap and tell him what they wanted from me for their birthdays! It is a family tradition that for Christmas we make cookies so we did! We hand-made cookies used Christmas cookie cutters and
decorated them with icing and candy. The reason I left the tree bare is for this activity. We decorated the Christmas Tree with stringed popcorn paper chains and plastic Christmas ornaments.
Instead of getting gifts for me they got gifts for each other and we did a "Chinese Christmas" thing (another family tradition) where we each drew numbers. Whoever draws 1 goes
first 2 second so on and so forth. If you are for instance4 but 2 has a gift you REALLY want you can trade gifts with 2 whether 2 likes it or not. It is fun to see how many times the most
popular gift is traded. 1 after everyone else is done gets to decide whether or not they want to trade with ANYONE! We had a LOT of fun! GAMES: We played typical games with Christmas themes;
Hide and Seek was Find the Elves Red Rover was Red Rudolph Freeze Tag was Freeze Tag (no need to rename that one!) COSTUMES: At Christmas time my mom and I went shopping and found the cutest
elf costumes. We got enough of each size that everyone would get one for my party to wear (I like to plan ahead). My dad dressed as Santa My mom as Mrs.Claus and my brothers as deer. I
dressed in all black and put a bow in my hair (I was a present). PARTY SNACKS: For dinner the night of my party we had "Christmas Dinner" which was made of my favorite meal; steak
mac and cheese baked potato and corn on the cob. CAKE: I went to Great American Cookie Co. and ordered a chocolate chip cookie cake shaped and decorated like Rudolph. FAVORS: Everyone got
their costumes Chinese Christmas gifts and pillow cases of coarse but they also got homemade ornaments and purses filled with lip gloss eye masks nail polish etc;"
