This party was a fantastic party! It was suitable for all the people invited. I gathered a few bits of infomation from my friends. It was my daughters sweet 16 and turned out to be a great
success. I will follow on from the invitation, decorations, activities, games, costumes, party snacks, cake and favors. Invitation: i guess this had to be a big hit so i invited over 100
people to her party. From her grandmother to her youngest cousins and friends. i started off with the basics of the invitation her theme was to be glitter and glamour, making all the gold and
silver a part of it. The base of of the invitaion i cut a silver piece of card into an A5 shape and folded in half, i then decorated each card with heaps of gold gliter the over the top stuck
cut pot black words (prepared before hand) and stuck all the details onto the card (place, time, theme, dress up, date.) Decorations: for decorations i bought gold and silver helium balloons
and lots of gold and silver ribbon i rented out a place near the river with a patch on grass leading onto the river. I hung all the decorations inside and had a masssive banner with sweet 16
on it covered in gold glitter. Each table inside had a black table cloth and gold coverings over the chairs. I had a dance floor in the middle of the room. in the centre of the table i had a
fake jar of gold roses on each (which you can get from a near by really discounted cheap shop) i laid out little gold fairy lights leading to the door way of the centre and around the outside
of the roof. I also hired a silver hummer for my daughter and most of her family. Activities: for activities they basically danced and talked i let them adventure outside to get fresh air, we
karoake as well for my daughter and all of her friends to sing along to. Games: we played the basic party games for a laugh that all the adults love doing and had some really awesome prizes
up for grabs. We had a karoake and dancing competition. Costumes: well we asked on the invitation to come dressed up with something silver or gold on in something glamorous so the girls
wentout and bought dresses which consisted of silver and gold and the guys came in black pants and shiny silver or gold shoes on and what ever top to wear. My daughter came in a wonderful
golden dress that she picked oput herself and really gorgeous shoes and diamonds earring that she received for her birthday. Party snack: it was all just finger food at the start of the
evening and then they started ordering at the retaurant available there that we would obvisouly pay for. Cake: we got this wonderful mud cake 3 stories high with silver and gold balls all
over it decorated in icing in gold and silver. Favors: I bought small glass jars and filled them up will heaps of jellybeans, sweet, lollies, chocolates and lollypops. I think the kids
thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it for a bashing night for any party!!!
